Luke, That is exactly what I have been saying for years. I love the church. I look at it as a "filling station". To be refilled, encouraged and motivated to go back out into the world and preach the gospel. Not a place to sit and wait for unbelievers to come in and be saved. It has always bothered me when I hear, ask your family and friends to come to church. I feel if we are out "in the world", doing what God told us to do, then people will want to come in without having to be ask. Most of all, not to be saved but to grow in their spirituality. Most will be saved "outside" of the 4 walls of the church if we are doing what we are suppose to be doing.
